The tuition fees in the hostels of the GMR Institute of Technology is roughly to INR 86,650 per annum. This entails an establishment fee of 41,700INR, catering fee of 39,950 INR and a caution deposit of 5,000 INR. Both the hostels are available for men and women, the men's hostel has the capacity of 1,200 students and women's hostel has the capacity of 444 students. It was started in the year 1997 and it is located in affiliated to JNTU Kakinada and accredited by NAAC with Grade “A”.
