Admission to the LLM course at Gujarat National Law University requires the candidates to have passed their LLB or equivalent bachelor's degree in law. They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university. Candidates also completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate. Other than that, the applicants have to be qualified for the CLAT PG entrance exam. Admission is, however, granted upon passing the entrance test. It admits students who are eligible for the LLM programme, which is also available in multiple specializations.

Yes, GNLU does offer the LLM course with a one-year duration. The different specialisations for the LLM course provided by GNLU, such as Corporate and Business Law, Sports Law, Criminal and Security Law, amongst others. Admission to the LLM course at GNLU is done based on the merit list of CLAT PG conducted at the national level. The tuition and related fees of the GNLU LLM programme differ according to many components. However, the tuition fee for the LLM programme ranges from INR 1.2 to INR 6 lakh, depending on the course specialisation. The hostel fees may range from INR 66,000 to INR 3.3 lakh, including other components, such as a meal plan being included. Students who wish to take admission to BALLB at GNLU must meet the eligibility requirements. Students need to qualify the required examination for admission process. CLAT needs to be cleared for BALLB. The BALLB Cutoff for year 2022 stood at 430 rank.  The BALLB Cutoff for year 2023 stood at 462 rank.  The BALLB Cutoff for year 2024 stood at 434 rank.

Additionally, all students need to pay a one-time development charge of USD 2,000 (UG candidates) and USD 500 (PG candidates).
