The LLB course is offered by Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) for five years in duration. It is an all-inclusive course that takes into consideration the overall conceptions, knowledge, and principles regarding law and practices. The LLB course includes 10 semesters, which involve various subjects that will make students capable enough to practice in the legal sector. In addition, the university offers BSW LLB specialisation that seeks to integrate social work with legal education while preparing the students for their careers.

The eligibility criteria for the BA LLB (Hons) degree at the Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) mandates that the candidate passes the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with at least an aggregate of 45% or at least 40% aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates. Candidates will have to clear CLAT and attain a requisite score to seek admission in the course. It is very important that candidates meet this, as they hope to avail of legal education from GNLU.

Admission to the LLM programme at GNLU is provided through merit and reservation policies, respectively. The intake of the total number of seats is filled through the CLAT PG exam, which admits candidates in order of merit.
