Gujarat National Law University provides admission to the one-year LLM programme. Candidates willing to seek admission to the LLM course in GNLU for the session 2024-25 are hereby advised to go through the key dates of the admission process. The CLAT 2025 application, which is required for LLM admissions, has been issued on July 15, 2024. However, the last date to apply is October 15, 2024. CLAT 2025 is scheduled for December 1, 2024. The students who are looking forward to joining this course should have all the latest dates in order for smooth admission processes.

LLM at GNLU is a one-year full-time postgraduate course. The scheme of the LLM course encompasses diversified areas of legal studies, and its operation is divided into two semesters. The proposed law course shall be providing advanced 'legal' education theoretical knowledge and insights into practicum. Equipping the graduates with the necessary set of skills and expertise in LLM, which is completed by the end of the semester, the graduates become equipped to open wide vistas of career opportunities in Academia, Legal Practice, and Public Sector.

Admission to the LLM course at Gujarat National Law University requires the candidates to have passed their LLB or equivalent bachelor's degree in law. They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university. Candidates also completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate. Other than that, the applicants have to be qualified for the CLAT PG entrance exam. Admission is, however, granted upon passing the entrance test. It admits students who are eligible for the LLM programme, which is also available in multiple specializations.

The tuition and related fees of the GNLU LLM programme differ according to many components. However, the tuition fee for the LLM programme ranges from INR 1.2 to INR 6 lakh, depending on the course specialisation. The hostel fees may range from INR 66,000 to INR 3.3 lakh, including other components, such as a meal plan being included. Consequent to that, an admission fee of INR 2,000 to INR 17,000 is also included in the fee structure. The overall LLM fees at GNLU are around INR 1.88 lakh to INR 9.47 lakh. Students who wish to take admission to BALLB at GNLU must meet the eligibility requirements. Students need to qualify the required examination for admission process. CLAT needs to be cleared for BALLB. The BALLB Cutoff for year 2022 stood at 430 rank. The BALLB Cutoff for year 2023 stood at 462 rank. The BALLB Cutoff for year 2024 stood at 434 rank.

The fee for the LLM programme at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is INR 1,42,200 per annum for Indian students and tuition fees of USD 6,000 for NRI and Foreign National students. Additionally, all students need to pay a one-time development charge of USD 2,000 (UG candidates) and USD 500 (PG candidates). The total fee for the LLM program, including the development charge, is INR 2,36,000 for Indian students and INR 1,16,000 + USD 12,500 for NRI and Foreign National students.
