Goa University BA seat reservation is based on the reservation policy of the Goa State Government given below:
- 1% of total seats shall be reserved for Children of Ex-servicemen
- 2% of seats, subject to a minimum of one seat, shall be reserved for the SC candidates of Goa State
- 5% of total seats, subject to a minimum of one seat, shall be reserved for PwD candidates
- 10% of seats, subject to a maximum of two seats and a minimum of one seat, shall be reserved for candidates of the other Indian Universities
- 10% of total seats shall be reserved for the EWS candidates of the Unreserved category
- 12% of seats, subject to a minimum of one seat, shall

Goa University BSc seat reservation is based on the reservation policy of the Goa State Government. Given below is the Goa University BSc seat reservation policy:
- 1% of total seats shall be reserved for Children of Ex-servicemen

Reservation of seats for admission to the various programmes of study shall be based on the Reservation Policy of the Goa State Government. Candidates applying for admission under the Reserved Categories shall be required to submit a valid Certificate to that effect issued by the Officer of the rank of the Deputy Collector or any other authorized Officer as notified by the Government of Goa.
