Dr. D. Y. Patil institute of technology has better placements, with higher packages and more recruiters, especially in IT, due to its location and industry links. Avasari offers fewer placements but has fewer high-paying opportunities. Before choosing an institute to apply for, you are suggested to refer to the Shiksha website to compare both of them and also you can read student reviews on the same.

Government College of Engineering and Research, Avasari ranks well in Maharashtra's educational landscape but lacks a specific ranking in national reports like NIRF. It is known for its solid infrastructure and academic offerings. The college is focused on providing hands-on experience and robust placements, with a placement rate of 80-85%.
