Best college for mining engineering.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in different companies. Package ranges from 7 LPA to 15 LPA for finding engineering and other branches with 3.5 LPA to 8 LPA. Top companies include Tata Power, Tech Mahindra, IMFA Mines, L&T, Adani, Nexgen, Tata, TCS, etc. The internship is not offered by the college you need to search through your contacts or seniors.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best among all government colleges in Odisha with unique architectural design, and different blocks of 3 floors for different branches of engineering. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel and library at all time. Food is done in tender system on demand of students. If they don't provide proper food tender is canceled. A special medical room is present with a doctor in college all time available for serving.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful only if you want to learn something if you don't pay attention to teachers they also don't waste time on you. College is under BPUT so the syllabus is designed by BPUT which is one of the main board in Odisha with around 100 of college so syllabus pattern is good according to engineering. Semesters are not much difficult one can crack easily with only regular class attending.
Other: Canteen is available for food and all other general xeroxes, printing, etc. From morning to 7:00 PM, in campus gym and ATM machines facility is available for ease of convince.
