Government College

The private, independent Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College (BVCEC) was founded in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, in 1997. It is associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, has been authorized by the AICTE, and has received an A+ grade from the NAAC. The college, which offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate engineering and management degrees is run by the BVC Group, which was established by Sri Bonam Kanakayya. It is not government-funded and depends on private management for its operations, infrastructure and academic programs.

Varanasi's Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) is a private university. It was founded in 2010 and has AICTE approval. It is associated with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). The institute, which is self-financing and does not receive government money, provides undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, pharmacy and management. Its academic programs are supported by its state-of-the-art facilities such as labs and libraries, and it continues to prioritize technical education and research setting it apart from public universities.

A private engineering college is Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET).  It was founded in 2010 as an initiative of the Loyola College Society and Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers (ICAM), France, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.  Affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE, LICET is a self-financing organisation that is not funded by the government.  It is renowned for its industry-focused curriculum and superior placement record, and it offers B.E./B.Tech courses.

Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering (AMSCE) is a private, self-financing institution established in 2000 and located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated with Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology.

AMSCE is managed by the Aalim Muhammed Salegh Trust, founded by Dr. S.M. Shaik Nuruddin in 1990. The college operates independently and is not funded or managed by the government.?

Sindhi Institute of Management (SIM), located at Bengaluru, Karnataka, is a private institution founded in 1996 by the Sindhi Seva Samiti. It is affiliated to Bengaluru North University and approved by AICTE. SIM, without any government funding, relies on tuition fees and private resources in running the institute.

SIM offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs such as BBA, BCA, B.Com., and MBA-focusing on management and commerce education. Since it is private, it has some advantages for flexibility in the designing of the curriculum and the infrastructure, but comparatively higher fees. 

JP Institute of Engineering and Technology is a private institute located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2007. It offers 5 courses, namely B.E. / B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MBA/PGDM, MCA and After 10th Diploma. These courses are offered across 7 specialisations, that include Computer Science Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering. 

Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh Institute of Management and Technology (RRSIMT) operates as a private educational institution. The institution opened its doors in 2008 and maintains its headquarters in Amethi within Uttar Pradesh. Rajarshi Rananjay Sinh Institute of Management and Technology operates under AICTE approval while being affiliated with Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) located in Lucknow. 

Bhabha Institute of Technology is a private engineering college. It was established in 2007 and is accredited by All India Council for Technical Education. The college offers intotal 13 courses in the field of Engineering, Management, and Computer Science at the undergrdauate and the postgraduate level.
