Hostel accommodation in Government Engineering College, Bhuj is very affordable going at about 1,500 per annum to 3400 per annum. These charges do not include the mess fees which will be more when provided. The extremely low price is often commended by students, which makes it a very inexpensive place of accomodation. To get the accurate and up to date information on fees, mess arrangements etc. it would be prudent to enquire with the college administration itself.

Yes, Government Engineering College, Bhuj (GEC Bhuj) is a reputed institute especially in the state of Gujarat. It was founded in 1994 and it is considered to be the only government engineering college at the Kutch district, which also provides an education that is very cheap. A long history, part of GTU, strong rebuilding following the 2001 earthquake, and positive student opinion about it in general, make it well known and well regarded in the region, with respect to future engineers in Gujarat.
