Yes, some seats are reserved in MS course at GMCH Chandigarh - Government Medical College and Hospital. The total numbers of seats are 155 (151 plus 4 seats for EWS in State Quota). The distribution is given below:

  • All India Quota (AIQ): 76 Seats
  • State Quota: 75 Seats + 4 EWS seats i.e 15% of 75 seats are reserved for scheduled castes (SC), 5% of 75 seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) on horizontal basis and 3% of 75 seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC) on horizontal basis

GMCH Chandigarh - Government Medical College and Hospital MS admission is entrance based. To get admission, students must meet the eligibility and selection requirement. The eligibility requirement for admission in MS programme is a graduation degree in MBBS. The selection is based on scores of NEET PG entrance test, followed by the MCC counselling process.
