This Government Polytechnic in Pune is widely regarded for both its academic reputation and for successfully placing its graduates into jobs. Because so many students choose this institution as their first choice, this Institute has an extremely high closing percentage. Following are the closing percentages for this branch for several categories, according to wonder port. 94.00% for the General category 87.80% for the SC category 77.80% for the ST category 90.40% for OBC category But this information is not complete.

Hello, in the state of Maharashtra, admissions to diploma programmes are handled centrally. Furthermore, the government polytechnic does not set any cutoffs. This indicates that any student who meets all entry requirements may apply for admission to any polytechnic. I Hope it was helpful.

Let me first clear that being a Govt institution, it does not prescribe any cutoff, meaning number students can even apply. As a matter of fact admissions to diploma courses are through centralised admission process and in this there is no scope for cut off. Perhaps what you wanted to enquire was about closing ranks last year. Right? Actually there are various categories of students and for each catagory there is closing rank in each of the stream of studies. For computers, for open category, closing percentage was 91.60. You can download the table from the website of DTE of technical education of Maharashtra .

Hello Piyush BMJ, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in knowing the cut off for 2021 in the course that you are interested. I think that what you actually mean is the closing percentage and not the cutoff percentage. Since this Government polytechnic at Pune does not prescribed any cut off below which students cannot apply. This is one of the best polytechnics in whole of Maharashtra and as a result the top notch students get attracted to this college.
