There is no mess attached to Apna boys hostel but in RM Bhatt there is a huge canteen where you can chill with your buddies, but avoid the super seniors to avoid some out-of-the-world moments. We usually eat in the central canteen or 300 P.G residents canteen. The usual thali you get here, costs 55 INR.

If you are a non-vegetarian then welcome to heaven cause you can have it every day in this canteen

Faculty members at GMC Mumbai are very good. Teachers are well-qualified. They are mostly postgraduate professionals. They are very helpful and caring.

Failing in internal exams is pretty normal in the first year (infact any year). For university internal marks you need to have passed just 3 tests, right? They calculate the average of best of three internal marks. Marks don't matter much here in medicine.

Grant Medical College is started in the year 1845. The total fees of MBBS in Grant Medical College are around One Lacs for the management quota.

Admission is made strictly based on merit obtained in the NEET-UG exam held by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Seats are allocated as 15% All India Quota and 85% for Maharashtra State Government Quota.

I’m sorry but I couldn’t find any information regarding the restrictions in girls' hostel regarding phone use and hostel timings to go out at Grant Government Medical College. However, I found an article that says that the Kerala government has issued an order putting an end to gender discrimination in the restrictions imposed on UG students at the hostels in the medical and dental colleges. Both girl and boy students can enter the hostel after 9.30 pm by entering the details in the movement register, as per the order. This is applicable to students from second year onwards. The cutoff trend for Medical courses at Grant Medical College has seen an increase in the recent few years.
