Hi, GRE is typically required to study in US and some universities in Canada. Check entry requirements firstly and prepare accordingly. If you want to study in Australia it is not required but accepted if one submits the score. You may check ets.org/gre for details, test centers, fees, test dates etc. GRE cut-offs vary from university to university. In general, a score above 310 is a safe score regardless of where you study.

GRE preparation can take anywhere from 3 to 8 months, depending on your schedule and study plan. You may also require 12 months. Taking regular practice test and assessing your performance is very important.

Chances in USF is decent, your percentile is also good. They will evaluate your SOP, LOR etc. GRE score is okay but it is always good to have a score above 310. Good thing is USF and most universities in USF checks overall application package and not just one factor. So, good luck. Canada, well is very competitive for MS.
