MBA requires a valid CAT score. Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration also requires a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GRE, but in case if the candidates don’t possess any of these scores, he/she can appear for the Institution Entrance Test known as Indian Institute of Management Test. The test is conducted by University online, so it can be taken from anywhere within the convenient of the candidate. A valid score from the IIMU test will be considered instead of CAT/GMAT/GRE score.

For admission to NYIT, the GRE requirement varies as per the courses. Some of the other requirements that have to be met by the students are:
- Application fee
- Academic reports
- GMAT or GRE or MAT
- English proficiency test score
- Affidavit of Support
- Bank statement for Financial Support

Yes, graduates from foreign universities are required to take the GRE and submit the score of the same in order to take admission to NYIT MS in Data Science. Other than this, the entry requirements for NYIT MS in Data Science course are:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute, with a GPA of 2.85 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- As Data Science is an interdisciplinary field, NYIT welcomes students from varied professional backgrounds. However, the applicants must have the following pre-requisites: one Computer Programming course, One college-level Statistics course, Basic Linear Algebra, Basic Database Systems
