The general BA Economics programme is just different from the BA Economics (Hons) programme because the former provides general knowledge of economics, and the latter is more specialised as it focuses on advanced topics with a research-oriented approach.
In Gujarat, BA Economics programs are offered by colleges such as St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad, MSU Baroda, Sardar Patel University, Gujarat University, and SNDT University. Admission is merit-based, and eligibility requires 10+2 in Economics or Commerce. Some colleges may also conduct entrance exams or have specific marks criteria for admission.
