In Gujarat there are 13 B.Voc colleges. Out of which, there is a split of colleges by ownership, 3 are private and 3 are government. Some of the popular BVoC colleges include Sardar Patel University, SOU B.Voc College, Gujarat Technological University, Central University of Gujarat, R.N.G. Patel Institute of Technology and Sigma University.

In 2023, B.J. Medical College (BJMC) in Ahmedabad was ranked 50th in the medical category of the NIRF Ranking List. This was the same ranking as the previous year. In 2022, BJMC was also ranked 50th in India, second in Ahmedabad, and second in Gujarat.
It was also placed at 41st rank out of 100 medical colleges in India, according to IIRF.
The college is well-known for its for DM, M.Sc., M.Ch., PG Diploma, MBBS, MD, MS, B.Sc. courses.

B. J. Medical College (BJMC) in Ahmedabad, India is a public medical college affiliated with the Gujarat University and Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. It was established in 1871. It offers 2 UG courses and 40 PG courses.
It has been ranked 50th in Medical Colleges in India by NIRF in the year 2023. The college boasts a fairly large campus with many amenities, including labs, a medical clinic, a gym, a library, and an auditorium.
The college also offers great placements with the highest package offered was INR 22 LPA.

B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad is considered one of the top medical colleges in Gujarat. According to Shiksha, the college has a 100% placement rate, and students receive a median package of around INR 165,811 during in-campus placements.
The salary package depends on whether the student chooses to work in a private or government hospital. Government hospitals pay between INR 60,000 and INR 70,000 per month.

The aspirants are required to apply through the DSEU online application portal. Note that the application form is submitted only after the payment of the application cum counselling fees. Admission to the course is merit-based, however, CUET scores are also considered. Hence, candidates shall take the CUET exam. The students who then make it to the DSEU BBA final merit list become eligible for seat allotment.

SVIT College has a high ranking according to NIRF as compared to SVBP. The SVIT also has high rankings and reviews from students as compared to SVBP College. SVIT is approved by UGC while SVBP is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India. The placement records and the placement rate of SVIT are more than that of SVBP. There are a large number of companies that visit SVIT as compared to SVBP College. The highest Package offered by SVIT is about 10 LPA and the average Package offered by SVIT is nearly 6 LPA. The highest package offered by SVBP is nearly 8.33 LPA and the average package offered by SBIIMS is 3.
