Placement at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University: Placement Cell that helps in the smooth conduction of the placement process. The university provides excellent placement opportunities with nearly 100% of students getting job offers. The highest internship package offered was 26,000 INR. However, the placement rate has decreased by 11% in the past three years.

The Central Placement Cell of the university endeavors to facilitate and provide suitable placement in reputed multinationals, government organizations, NGOs, and the private sector. The university has a placement rate of 80% for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. The placement cell conducts various conferences with career experts to help and encourage students to choose an ideal future path. The university has a hundred percent placement rate in the B.Tech CSE department, and the highest package offered on-campus is 18 lacs and off-campus is 24 lacs.

Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, is a UGC recognized, state-university, and is accredited by the NAAC's the highest possible rating of "A." The University was founded in 1973, and as of 2009, the Central Universities Act has raised it to the status of a Central University. Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University has three campuses: Birla campus in Srinagar (with an extension at Chauras campus), B. Gopal Reddy campus in Pauri, and Swami Ram Teerth (SRT) campus in Tehri. HNBGU offers BTech programmes for a duration of four years in full-time mode in various specializations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. The faculty and state-of-the-art facilties provided by the HNBGU make it a good university for the B.Tech programs. The median package provided during the HNBGU UG 4-year and PG 2-year placements in 2022 was INR 2.90 LPA and INR 5.20 LPA, respectively, according to the HNBGU overall NIRF report for 2023.
