GGSIPU BCom seat reservation is based on Delhi government's policy which provides that 85% of total intake will be reserved for candidates of Delhi. 

Candidates will be considered from Delhi if they completed their Class 12 board exams from a school located in Delhi. Within these seats, 40% will be reserved for candidates of PWD category.

Yes, GGSIPU counselling for BCom admissions have begun in academic year 2026. Either a valid score of CUET-UG or IPU-CET will be required for participating in these counselling rounds.

No, general category candidates with an aggregate of 50% in Class 12 board exams are not eligible for GGSIPU BTech courses. To be eligible for BTech at GGSIPU, candidates need to score a minimum of 55% in their Class 12 board exams in the relevant stream.

Hoever, candidates of non-general category may get relaxation in the eligiblity criteria, making them eligible for GGSIPU BTech admission.

The tuition fees for the BTech (lateral entry) corses at GGSIPU is INR 5.6 Lacs in 2026. This fees contains the tuition fees for 2026, 2027 and 2028. Candidates will be paying the installments of other fee components for the above mentioned years with the BTech (lateral entry) tuition fees.

The available seat intake for the BTech Computer Science & Engineering programme is 150. The BTech seats gets filled quickly at IPU, hence students must fill the available seats timely to avoid any late seat filling.

The basic eligibility requirement for the BTech programme at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is pass in Class 12th with a min. of 45-55 % aggregate. The accepted entrance examinations are JEE Main, IPU CET, HSTES, and others. GGSIPU students must secure good marks in accepted entrance tests for a successful admission to the available programmes.

No unfortunately, admission to M.Ed courses at IP University is not possible without an entrance exam. They mandate either their own IPU CET  (Common Entrance Test) or scores from national exams like CUET PG  (Central Universities Entrance Test) for postgraduate admissions. So, taking and qualifying for either of these exams is a necessary step in the process.

The total seats available for the IPU B.Ed programmes is 1,900. Additionally, the seats for B.Ed special courses is 243 (As per past years' data). It includes the seats available in the affiliated colleges. At the time of seat allotment, candidates are admitted as per this seat intake only. All the B.Ed offering IPU colleges have a seat intake of 100 for the course. The mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body.
