First of all, the thing is there is a less chance to get admission because the form of IPU has already closed. But still, many colleges take direct admission. So you can go and visit them.

Your rank is pretty decent. Getting a rank under 500, however, gets you in the top 3 colleges of IPU.
Not many colleges of IPU offer B.Tech Biotechnology.
University School of Biotechnology (USBT) is a constituent institute of GGSIPU. You can surely get into it. Not sure about any other college. Just check with MAIT, VIPS, MSI or JIMS if they offer your course. These colleges are the best.
Your course is B.Tech (Biotech). The subject code is 130. So for your course, There will be offline counselling. I checked the schedule for you:

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is good for BCA.
It is one of the best options in IPU. MSI is better than VIPS. MSI offers good placement records as companies visiting here are more in numbers. Secondary factors which make it good are infra, environment and distance from your home. And I should say this, MSI has quite a good infra and environment. On the whole, yes, it will give you great opportunities, what matters is how you utilise it. Here a student's intellectual level is good as compared to other colleges.

I think you will be in the 15% students as Faridabad comes in the NCR and not in the NCT (National Capital Territory).
