Guru Nanak Dev University hasn't released any official dates for the BTech course as of now. However, the inquiry portal is open for admission 2025. As per previous years' admission dates, the online application began on 8 May 2024 and ended on 7 June 2024. Candidates can expect the BTech admission dates to be out soon. Further, candidates can refer to the JEE Main 2025 exam dates.

Candidates must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% aggregate. The total course fee for the BTech course at GNDU ranges between INR 4.7 Lacs and INR 10.3 Lacs.

The course fees for four years BTech in GNDU RC Jalandhar range from INR 5.8 Lacs to INR 7.2 Lakh, which vary as per the specialisations offered under the course. Applicants are required to make the fee payment within two working days or as notified during counselling after the admission slip is issued, failing which their seats will be declared vacant and will be allotted to the candidates next on the waiting list.

MCA is 2 year Full time course that requires 12+ graduation degree in computer Science or any discipline subject with mathematics an elective subject. Guru Nanak Dev University conducts its own entrance exam, which is the GNDU MCA entrance test. Students have to qualify for it. The total tution fees for MCA is approximately 2- 3 lakh.

Admissions to B.Tech courses are done on merit in Entrance Test/JEE Main
Admissions to M.Tech courses are done on the basis of GATE scores or merit in Entrance Test conducted by University.
Admissions to MBA are based on the merit in the Entrance Test.
Admission to B.Arch. is based on the combined merit of valid NATA score and qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50.
Admissions to M.Phil/Ph.D courses are based on the merit in the Entrance Test conducted by the university.
Admission to open & Distance Learning courses is done on the basis of merit of the last qualifying examination
Candidates can apply for admissions via online mode.

Students who want to join the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar must have JEE Main examination ranks within the 28,000 to 50,000 range.
A JEE Main score within the 83.7 percentile matches positions between 28,000 to 50,000. To be safe try to score 90+.

For B.Sc., Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Fattu Dhinga is good. It is a component of GNDU, which has a strong reputation, and it offers courses such as B.Sc. in Science fields. The campus is more compact, you get more help from teachers. Placements are not great, but if you work hard and are looking for a low-cost option, it's good.

No, completing your master degree from a college affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) and your bachelor's degree from a college affiliated with Punjab University (PU) won't cause any significant problems. The UGC has given both universities high recognition and degrees that are accepted all over India. However when applying for jobs or further education certain institutions may have different credit transfer rules grading schemes or syllabuses that call for further documentation.
