To be eligible for admissions, candidates need to pass their 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks as an aggregate from a recognised Board

Placements at GU are decent. From the last semester until the fourth semester, a student becomes eligible for on-campus placements. Numerous companies have visited the college, like Vivo, Oppo, Concentrix, and Micromax, and the highest package offered is INR 15 Lacs per annum, while the average package was INR 8 Lacs per annum for the last and first batch of B.Tech students at the university. The percentage of students getting placements is 80–90% of last year. Most of them have good jobs at good companies with a good package. There are 60 seats for B.Tech in Gurugram University out of which 10% seats are reserved for NRI students.
To eligible for B.Tech you have to pass class 12th in PCM and English subjects with 45% marks for unreserved category and 40% marks for reserved category.
