National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Pharmacy ranking by NIRF is 12 out of 100 colleges in India in 2025 and it was again 12 out of 100 colleges in India in 2024.
Its ranking is widely known as 1st in Assam under Pharmacy.

Looking at the cutoff data for each of the accepted entrance exams for M.Tech admissions, all three exams look equally competitve for National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guwahati M.Tech admissions.
The three exams accepted for M.Tech admissions are GPAT, GATE and NIPER JEE. Aside from admissions, there are no other benefits of choosing one exam over another.
