The course fee for MSc at NIELIT Guwahati is INR 95,000. Candidates are required to fill the course fee if they get the final offer from the institute. The fee structure comprises of various components, such as tuition fee, security deposit, Insurance, etc. While the tuition fee is payable in semester-wise instalments, other fee components, such as the refundable security deposit are payable only once at the time of the admission.

Few courses requires candidates to appear for an entrance test, and the cutoff score is decided by the institute based on the difficulty level of the paper.
