Yes, Gauhati University provides a four-year BTech programme across four specialisations through Gauhati University Institute of Science and Technology. Divided into eight semesters of six months’ duration, admission to all the BTech courses is subject to a valid score in the Assam CEE entrance exam or JEE Main. Furthermore, students also have an option to secure lateral entry admission directly to the second year or third semester of the BTech course.
