Yes, you can take admission with 70% in 12th class but also you have give NCHCT JEE exam and get above 75 percentile for increase your chances of admission. But it is necessary you have to give an entrance exam along with 12th exam. In Institute Of Hotel Management Guwahati admission is done by NCHMCT JEE exam. Age limit for admission is 22 year old for Gerneral Category students and for SC/ST students is 25 year old. Total tuition fees for B.Sc. is 3 lakh. The institute accepts CET results for admission. Admission to the B.Sc. programme is determined on the HSC score's merit. The candidate must have achieved passing grades in Science, Home Science, Commerce, Arts, or MCVC with English as one of the subjects, or the equivalent H.S.C. (Std XII) examination administered by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education. Minimum of 50% overall for candidates in the open category (45% overall for candidates in the reserved class who are solely Maharashtra State residents).

Yes, you can get admitted to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Studies (BScHS) program at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology with an 86% percentage in Class 12th. However, you still need to give the CET exam for the qualification. The eligibility criteria for the BScHS program are as follows:
Class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for the reserved category) from a recognized board.
