No, you cannot get admission in Institute of Hotel Management Guwahati on the basis of CAT exam. Because Institute doesn't accept CAT score for admission. Institute conduct its own entrance exam (IHM-CAT) for admission in MBA programs. And in IHM-CAT exam you get percentile in range of 80-85 percentile. Because last year cut off was 82 percentile and on the basis of last year cut off you can see it hard to get admission at 65 percentile. You need to get minimum 80 percentile to confirm your admission. You can check admission details on shiksha's official site (Shiksha.com) where you will find all info. about college.

You can or may not get admissions at the institute of Hotel Management, Shimla. This is because admission is based on the rank. Admissions to B.Sc in Institute of Hotel Management, shimla depends on the National council for hotel management and catering technology or NCHMCT JEE exams. Since the admissions are based on the NCHMCT JEE exams, it is mandatory to write the exams. The candidate must pass this exam and get more than the cutoff rank, set by the NCHMCT. Yes, The Institute of Hotel Management, Shima has good placements. Some of the top recruiters of this Institute are Le Meridian, Domino's, McDonald's, Taj Palace, The Oberoi, etc. Over 77 recruiters participated in the placement process drive in 2023. About 80% to 90% of the students got placed in the placement process. According to the placements report of 2023, the highest salary package offered to the students was 35,000 per month, the average was 15,000 to 18,000 per month and the lowest package was 8,000 to 9,000 per month. The placements in AIHM Institute seem to be dependent completely on the capabilities of the Students. According to the latest report goevn by the institution, in 2023, the average package given to the students was 2.6 Lakhs per annum or 15 to 20 thousand. More than 77 recruiters participated in the placement process and over 181 out of 308 students, got placed in various jobs. Total cost for BBA course at Institute of Hotel Management at Guwahati is somthing around 3 lakh. But it may be depend on candidate caste/category and if he/she are eligible for scholarship then it will make some change and not much difference will see 3 lakh is actual fees. To get admission in Institute of Hotel Management, Bhopal one should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with atleast 45% marks with the english as a compulsory subject also the age criteria is 22 years – General/ OBC, Relaxable age up to 3 years for SC/ST.
Apart from that you should have to give an Entrance Exam NCHMCT JEE (National Council Of Hotel Management & Catering Technologies Joint Entrance Exam) and also score good marks in this exam to get admission to your prferred selected college the minimum cut off marks are not fixed and not predictable as it depneds on various factors and decided by the institution manag

The minimum cut off marks changes every year it depends on various factors like number of aplications received, number of seats intake in the preffered course, performance of students in entrance exam (NCHMCT JEE) in that particular year like whether paper was easy or difficult.
By keeping all the points in mind institute management decides the minimum cut off marks for admission after that 3 cut off lists are generated to fill all the empty seats in the course and the minimum marks gets reduced after every list total 3 counselling sessions are held at IHM, Bhopal every year.
