HBTU Kanpur offers admission to most of the programmes based on entrance exam scores of the candidates. The university accepts scores in NIMCET, CUET, CAT, GATE, CUET-PG, etc. for admission to specific programmes. Aspirants also need to pass the GDPI round for MBA admission. Indeed, HBTU accepts applicants for its BBA programme without a CUET score. Only if there are still seats available after applicants with a CUET score have been assigned seats does this option become available. The Non-CUET candidates have to further take an entrance examination conducted by the university. Additionally, it is, however, necessary that the aspirant fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements.
