In order to take admission in a B.E./ B.Tech course in Hemnalini Memorial College of Engineering, one will have to meet the eligibility criteria first that include 10+2 pass in Physics, Mathematics and a third subject of relevance to the course, having a minimum of an aggregate of 45 per cent (or said in other words 40 per cent) in aggregate marks. Thereafter, the candidates must sit in a valid rank in the WBJEE or the JEE Main entrance test. The last procedure entails being a part of the required counseling (WBJEE or JoSAA/CSAB), whereby the seats would be assigned in merit order of preference chosen.

Yes, although Hemnalini Memorial College of Engineering does not give 100% scholarships to the students directly, it does enlighten and support the students to avail and apply to other Governmental Scholarships (both Central and State). These are such things as Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship or Oasis Scholarship (SC/ST/OBC) or Aikyashree Scholarship (minorities) etc. The students are also able to check scholarships of the private companies such as Reliance Foundation. Students of the SC and ST categories, especially, find it easy to obtain 100 percent fee waiver under such external government schemes.
