Heritage Institute of Technology Admission Process

 The admission process for the Heritage Institute of Technology will be based on marks which are received in an entrance examination. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and be eligible for WBJEE or JEE Main, if they wish to participate in BTech programmes.

 The eligibility criteria shall be met by the students. The JEE WB or the JEE Main would have to be qualified. Students must register and take part in the counseling process. After registering, students shall complete a choice form and secure their desired course by the closing date. After that, the selection of students and verification will be carried out where it is made known to them which subjects have been allocated seats. Students can also reapply for the other rounds if they are not granted the subject of their choice. The students have to pay the fees and document verification in order to be confirmed of admission when they receive their final subject from the university. Students who are WBJEE qualified will fill 80% of the seats. Students who have a valid result in the JEE Main test will fill 10% of available seats. The students enrolled in the management quota, with an approved WBJEE or JEE Main Score Card, will be allocated 10 % of seats.
