Heritage Institute of Technology Eligibility

The B.Tech programme at Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) requires applicants to have completed their H.S. (10+2) examination from the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and pass marks in English with a minimum of 30%. Candidates must also qualify for either the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. Seat allocation is based on WBJEE ranks, JEE (Main) ranks, and the Management Quota based on merit and other institute-determined criteria. Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the year of admission. The specific eligibility criteria and selection process may be subject to change.
