The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with an aggregate of 55% marks in your class 12 is required for B.A. in Economics at Heritage College, Kolkata for the general category candidates and 50 percent required for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC/EwS category.

Curriculum Is Well Structured And Detailed, Culture Is Rich Students Are Too Involved In Social Activities, Labs Are Well Equipped And Well Maintained. The placement's pretty good. Companies visit after 5-6th sem. TCS, Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, EY and some others are visiting this campus. A good placement rate of 80 per cent is given to most students. The average package is 600000inr. Around 12 to 15 LPA is the highest package.

The nerve center for all academic activities of the Institute is the Central Library of the Kolkata Heritage Institute of Technology, HITK. It is located in a central building, with an area of approximately 20,000 square meters.
