Dear Cosmo,
Yes, BTech in CSE is really a good option as per the market standard. I have no idea about the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Lateral Entry) at Heritage Institute of Technology but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of the same programme with you at LPU.
Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. Hi Abhishek,
This is due to better infrastructure and faculties of heritage, which resulted into better results in nirf ranking. When you analyse the placement scenario, you will find both the colleges at the same position.
Now coming to your rank in wbjee, you have secured a very good rank so i will suggest you to go for jadavpur university and prepare for IT companies as well during your b tech. I would like to assure you that you will get much more better opportunities in jadavpur university than any colleges of wbut. I will also not recommend you to go for iem because of their hectic discipline schedules, they will tease you for the
