Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,100 for entrance exam (INR 550 for SC/ ST and their sub-category (BPL/ IRDP). Below are the steps to apply for HPU B.Ed admission:
Step 1: Visit the official website of HPU Shimla.
Step 2: Click on the registration link available on the Home page.
Step 3: Pop-up will appear to display the terms and conditions for entrance exam
Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and accept the terms and conditions
Step 5: Screen will now be redirected to the application form.

Candidates appearing for HPU B.Ed entrance exam have to secure at least 35% for passing the exam. Aspirants have to get at least 53 questions correct out of total 150. There is relaxation of 5% in the passing marks for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates. Such aspirants have to get 30% or 45 questions correct out of 150. Aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements along with the entrance exam criteria to get admission to B.Ed programme.

HPU admission to MBA is entrance-based. The university conducts HPU MAT is a computer-based test of two hours' duration with 200 questions. The HPU MAT exam is conducted once in a year. Below is the selection criteria for HPU MBA programme:

Admissions to the undergraduate programme are based on Class 12 for a few courses, and for a few courses, it is based on the scores obtained in the qualifying exam as mentioned on the website. For BAMS course, the entrance exam accepted is NEET. Similarly, for BTech course admissions, the entrance exam accepted is JEE Main and HPCET. But for courses such as B.Ed, BSc, BA, among others, candidates need to pass Class 12 with a minimum of 45-50% aggregate.
