Hospitality Management Eligibility

Candidates who have Class 12 in any stream can apply for the SVIHMT for BHM programme. The selection criteria are merit-based.  Hotel Management courses teach candidates how to run and manage hotels, restaurants, resorts, and other hospitality services. Hotel Management courses also cover business skills like marketing, budgeting, and staff management. 

To enrol for a course, students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates should pass Class 12/ Class 10 or Class 8 as per the course requirement. Dehradun Institute of Hospitality admits students based on merit for certificate courses. Certificate courses at DIH shall be for one year. The first semester will consist of a minimum of 18 instructional weeks of five days each, four hours a day (Total contact hours 360). Continuous Internal evaluation during the course period and Final examination & Viva Voce at the end of the semester shall be conducted.

CII Institute of Hospitality - Hyatt Dehradun eligibility requires students to pass Class 12 with a 50% aggreagate with English as a compulsory subject. In addition to fulfilling the eligibility, students must also clear the aptitude test and Industry-Panel Viva to get shortlisted. The eligibility criteria for UG Diploma at CII Institute of Hospitality - Hyatt Kochi is to pass Class 12 with 50% marks in the English language from a recognised board. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website. The selection criteria for this course are based on an aptitude test and an industry panel viva.
