Established in 2014, VM Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE), Goa, is ISO-certified and is an integral part of VM Salgaocar Group of Companies (founded in 1952). The Institute is affiliated to Goa University and awards an internationally-acclaimed degree to the students. VMSIIHE is the first hospitality institute in India certified by FSSAI as Eat Right Campus with five-star rating.
The Institute offers BSc and MSc programmes in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM). It invites eminent personalities from related industries to impart demo sessions. It also focuses on training students on technical, operational and management skills along with the standard course curriculum.
The Institute provides exposure to its students through industry visits in Goa, India as well as abroad. They are also sent for study tours to France, Switzerland, Holland and Belgium. There is a hotel attached to VMSIIHE having a front office, VIP guest rooms, training kitchen, demo kitchen, bakery, training restaurant, etc.
The Institute is located in the idyllic village of Raia in South Goa and its campus is spread over six acres. It comprises an amphitheatre for hosting cultural events, annual food fests and much more. Additionally, various facilities like sports, gymnasium, training kitchen, well-appointed guestrooms, air-conditioned hostels with attached bath, sports & recreational facilities and swimming pool are also there for students. VMSIIHE Admission Process 2023
VMSIIHE admissions are granted to the candidates, who have cleared Class 12 exams. After applying to the Institute, candidates are contacted by the admission counsellor and are invited for a written examination conducted at the campus.
Through this test, they are assessed based on abstract reasoning, verbal reasoning, English comprehension and General Knowledge (GK). Qualified candidates will be required to attend the GDPI round.
Note: In case, candidates have a valid JEE or UGAT score, they need not take the written examination.

VMSIIHE Courses 2023
The Institute offers full-time BSc and MSc programmes in International Hospitality and Tourism Management. The curriculum of VMSIIHE courses is as per European standards and is more focused towards practical aspects. The degrees are accepted worldwide for jobs.
