According to my suggestion, you would get growth, income and profile in event management. Hotel management program require few years to reach up to manager level and that you can get, when you have MBA degree with you.
Otherwise in event management with a BBA degree, you can reach at good level and get huge income, but that require strong people management techniques, communication skills, IQ level and marketing strategy.

To become a hotel manager, you have to pursue Bachelor in hotel management, and then you need to go for MBA program from top B-school to get the good profile in top hotel chain.
