Here are some golden rules that'll help you become a good Manager in the Hospitality industry:
- Know your Job: Seems obvious, but you would be surprised by how many managers in the field neglect this. Learn everything and get good at it whether it's your duties as a manager or ringing up customers on the drive-thru, cooking the food, preparing food etc. Having worked as a team member shift manager and assistant manager at various fast food establishments I can say from experience this is one of the fastest ways to gain respect from your crew.
