HPBOSE does not sent any individual notification regarding the declaration of the Class 12th result. Students need to keep a track of the same online. Once announced, the results can be checked by logging with the required credentials.

To pass the HP Board 12th 2026 exam, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. This includes theory and practical exams separately. They are also required to secure an overall aggregate of 33% to pass the exam. 

HP Board 12th result 2026 will be announced in May. The result will be made available online. Students can check their results by logging with the required credentials.

HP Board Class 12 exam carries 100 marks. The duration of the written exam is 3 hours. The exam pattern outlines the chapter-wise marks weightage, marking scheme according to the question type, total marks, and exam duration. The questions are divided into objective type, very short answer, short answer and long type.

The duration of HPBOSE Class 12 is three hours. In the morning session, the exam is conducted for regular students from 8.45 am to 12 pm. The exam for the open school is held in the afternoon session from 1.45 pm to 5 pm. Candidates get 15 minutes to read the question paper.

According to the HPBOSE Class 12 revised exam pattern, all the sets of the question papers will have same questions. However, their sequence will be changed. The boards have introduced MCQ questions. MCQs will account for 20 per cent of the total marks.
