Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce does not set a fixed minimum score for BA admissions. Selection depends entirely on a merit list created after applications close. The cutoff marks change every year based on 12th board results. Scoring higher marks simply improves your selection chances.

There is no fixed percentage cutoff for every year. However based on recent merit lists the BA Arts cutoff generally falls around 35% to 55% (Class 12 marks) for most categories depending on the round and seat availability.  Since BA is a non-technical course, admission is mostly merit-based and relatively easier compared to professional courses, so a score like 66% is usually considered safe for BA Economics in this college.

Based on recent admission trends the merit cutoff for the general category generally falls in the range of around 55 percent to 70 percent marks in Class 12, while reserved categories like SC/ST may get admission at slightly lower percentages often around 45 percent to 60 percent depending on seat availability and merit list rounds. However the exact cutoff changes every year so it is best to check the official CCSU merit lists for the current admission cycle.

The BA History programme at Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College of Arts and Commerce is primarily offered in English as it follows the University of Mumbai curriculum. However many teachers also explain concepts in Marathi during lectures to help students understand better. It is advisable to confirm the medium with the college admission office before taking admission.
