 NOU Patna offers a two-year PG course of MA across 15 specialisations, which are taught through five different schools at the university. These specialisations are Economics, Education, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Maithili, Public Administration, Urdu, etc. Apart from this, the university also offers MA in Bhojpuri and English, but these specialisations are currently suspended by the university till any further update.

For BA, aspirants who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent from a recognised board or authority can apply. However, simply meeting the eligibility criteria does not confirm a seat in the course.

Candidates seeking admission can register and fill out the CSJMU BA (Hons) admission form. Admission to Kanpur University BA (Hons) is based on CUET-UG score and merit in the last qualifying exam. After the conclusion of the application procedure, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the selected students.
