Yes, RMLAU offers PhD programmes in eight specialisations, namely Economics and Rural Development, History, Culture and Archaeology, Physics and Electronics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Management and Mathematics and Statistics.

Yes, it is valid. All the courses offered in distance mode by IKGPTU are recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). Hence, the classification of the MA course is as per the UGC-approved list. Candidates with a distance degree issued by PTU will never face any difficulty while applying for higher studies or finding jobs anywhere.

The total tuition fee ranges between INR 36,800 - INR 96,000. It must be noted that this fee is mentioned as per the data available from unofficial sources and hence is subject to change. Candidates can visit the PTU website or the admission office for any queries. Moreover, the total fee at the time of admission can be higher considering other fee elements are also added to it.

Yes, the university offers an MA course in Journalism and Mass Communication specialisation. Some of the PTU-affiliated colleges also offer the PG course. Moreover, the course is available as a full-time as well as a distance course. The Directorate of Distance Education, PTU regulates the admission procedure for the MA distance course. The technology institute admits candidates to PhD courseson merit and respective entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are GATE/ UGC NET/CSIR NET. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores are then invited for the interview round for final selections. Moreover, for some of the PhD courses, candidates are selected based on performance in the last qualifying examination. It is also crucial that each of the aspirants meet the required eligibility criteria.

It is a full-time, residential doctoral course offering studies in different fields of management and functional areas. SPPU total tuition fee for MA ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 11.9 lakh. The fee varies depending upon the specialisation chosen, tenure of the course and the affiliated college selected by the student. This tuition fee is sourced from unofficial sources. Candidates seeking admission to MA are required to have completed their relevant UG degree. For further selection, candidates have to appear for OEE conducted by UniPune for final selection.
