There is no clear information available on whether Bhawanipur Education Society College provides placement for political Science honors students. According to reviews, placements are not good at the college because most students are preparing for other examinations like CA CS CMA CAT etc. However some mention that companies like Airtel, TCS, AIG, Indigo, etc. , visited the campus and offered opportunities. It is best to contact the college students or alumni directly to inquire about placement opportunities for political Science honors students.

Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2023 -
The courses offered at bachelors degree include BSW and B.Sc. in psychology. Based on the +2 marks furnished by the candidate, the merit list or selected / waitlisted candidates will be published through provided email or in the official website on the scheduled date. Based on merit the college invites candidates for a counselling process and during this process seats will be allocated to students. Completing the entire procedure Madras School of Social Work admission to BSW or B.Sc. will be declared.

The course is recognised by Government of Karnataka - Student may choose a single major along with one minor:

Major Subject- Psychology (Compulsory) Minor Subjects Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Food Science and Nutrition/ Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/ Food technology/ Environmental Science/ Nutrition and Dietetics/ Computer Science/Biostatistics (any one subject can be selected). It is good there but not the best as compared to other colleges.

96-98 percentile is the cutoff for BA hons in music at Hindu College. For BA, it is around 99 percentile.

You are not eligible for this programme because you have not completed your course in BCA which is mandatory for doing MCA because the eligibility criteria of admission is Graduation in BCA.
According to the Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU the eligibility criteria for MCA Programme (MCA_NEW) from January 2022 cycle has changed as follows: Passed BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/IT)/Bachelor's degree in computer Science and engineering or Equivalent with at least 50% marks in the Bachelors degree (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or 1. Yes surly, it won't even effect largely; and if you SEE changing stream from commerce to arts is most the easiest way of doing it, as the same does not easily apply with changing with any other stream. The only basis you should have is you should have interest in arts and so should be good in history - geography with reference to your basic study. There should be no any objection by the university as all student have to right to choose the stream in which they have interest.
