A Clinical Nutritionist credential requires a Bachelors or Master's degree in clinical nutrition ; Food Science, Public Health Nutrition, Sports and Nutrition. One must also pass the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board assessment.

If you want to prepare for Ph.D. then distance learning might be the best option for you as it will give you enough time to prepare without worrying about college attendance etc. There are many colleges in Kerala offering M.A. Through distance education:
