No, candidates who wish to get admissions into the PhD course at NIT Srinagar are required to appear for one of the accepted entrance exams. After qualifying in the entrance exam, the institute further evaluates candidates through a written test as well as personal interview round.

For sponsored or full-time working candidates for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions, it is mandatory to have a work experience of two years with their current employer to be eligible for PhD admissions.

However, candidates from other categories do not have such eligibility requirements for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions.

There is no mention of NIT Srinagar PhD admissions being open for candidates who are yet to receive their final scorecard. Generally, PhD admissions are not open to candidates who cannot produce their final marksheet and degree at the time of admissions.

Hence, candidates should assume that they cannot apply for NIT Srinagar PhD courses without their final exam scorecard.

No, the 2026 admissions for NIT Srinagar PhD are yet to be opened. The institute schedules the application window for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions between the months of June and July.

The results of the NIT Srinagar PhD admission process are revealed during the month of August and September.

No, UGC NET is not a mandatory entrance exam for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions. Candidates can also appear in the GATE as well to qualify for admissions to the NIT Srinagar PhD course.

However, candidates who are applying through a ME/MTech score are required to appear for the national level NIT Srinagar entrance exam instead of the aforementioned exams.

The IIT Patna PhD course fees is yet to be revealed for the academic year 2026. On the website of IIT Patna, the PhD course fees has been mentioned between INR 1.29 Lacs - INR 1.89 Lacs for the first year.

Thus, candidates can expect the current year fees to be around the same figures.

Only the candidates who are applying under the employed category are required to present work experience during IIT Patna PhD admissions. However, there is no requirement of work experience in the other categories of PhD courses offered by IIT Patna.

The admissions for BA programees will start once the results of class 12 and exams like CUET are out. Students need to visit the official page of the university for all the updates. Once the application process begins students need to register on the official site & fill the application form. They can also visit the campus office and fill out the paper application form submit the fee and accept the offer letter.

Yes, IIT Patna does offer financial support to its PhD students. However, candidates of the self-financed category of PhD courses are not offered any financial assistance at IIT Patna.

PhD students can receive financial under the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme, Reimbursement of Rent (RoR), Research Contingency grant and ther schemes at IIT Patna.
