Of course, it is. But only when you're into R&D or teaching roles. Otherwise, there's no point in spending your time and effort on a PhD degree. You can get a well-paying job even with a master's degree. 

A PhD degree is time-consuming, requires extensive research work, and has low stipend compared to international universities, so choose wisely.

The curriculum of MA programme in MIT-WPU includes optional subjects in the 4th semester. Students have to choice to opt for subjects such as Film Appreciation and Public Policy & Advocacy.

I guess both fields have different career objectives. There's no comparison between these two. Engineering is all about technical areas, and the Social Sciences are inclined toward politics, social issues, human behaviour, etc.

First of all, a PhD is the highest-level of degree, and you need to go through the whole long process of educational degrees to pursue a PhD. So, it will depend on the subjects you choose at your 12th, UG, and PG levels.

To continue the scholarship for the entire duration of the MA programme at MIT-WPU, the minimum academic score that has to be maintained by the student in all semesters is 8 CGPA. The student also need to have minimum attendance of 80%. The student must ensure that there is no disciplinary action against the student for the scholarship to continue.

The students who want to get admission into the BA course must go to the college website and fill the application form. Students must upload the required documents carefully. After filling the details, they have to pay application fees which can only be paid online via debit card, credit card and net banking. The candidates must fill the form within the deadline to confirm their seat.
