As LPU alumni, I would say like to share experience of One of my friends did M.Tech in ECE with a specialisation in VLSI from LPU and now she is doing a Ph.D. in the same from LPU. To get admission, you should have a minimum of 55% marks in your master's degree in a relevant subject. After that, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam if you have not qualified for a national level test such as GATE UGC NET CSIR, GPAT etc. The entrance will have 70% weightage in selection. Hello Jyoti, Final admission selection to Ph.D. will be based on performance on the entrance test (70% weight) and Interview (30% weight) subject to obtaining low marks in the Interview. Admission to the Ph.D. History course is based on an entrance exam followed by an interview conducted by various Universities. Students with UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), UGC NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE Master Fellowship holder or M graduates. Phil. Hope this helps!
