M.A. Psychology admissions are either done on the basis of merit or through the university/college's own entrance exam, and so you might want to first identify the universities that you would like to apply to. Further it is necessary for the candidate to have completed his/her graduation from a recognised University. Assuming you fulfil the criteria, you can start by having a look at the university websites including Delhi University, IILM University Gurugram, Banasthali University to name a few that offer an M.A. In Psychology. The applications for IILM University Gurugram for example are open and can be viewed on the web

Both are equivalent degrees as such because both are Bachelors degrees. In my opinion, B.A. would be preparing you better for your competitive exams as the college from where you pursue your B.A. Especially, B.A. Honors would be giving you workshops and seminars to attend which would add up to your knowledge. Colleges like LPU, BITS send you to other universities for debates and general knowledge quiz programs where in you automatically are pushed into the much needed aspect of knowledge for your competitive exams, So check a college with care like LPU, BITS, ANNA, MIRANDA etc. to fulfill your high aims.
