If I were in your position, I wouldn't wait too much or get stressed about the scores. You already have 2 years of work experience, which is a good advantage and adds value to your profile.

My suggestion would be to apply to colleges that accept MAT scores while also waiting for your CMAT result. That way, you keep your options open and don't lose time.

Personally, I would suggest GIBS Bangalore. What I liked about GIBS is that the college looks at the overall profile of a student and not just one exam score. Along with academics, there is a strong focus on internships, industry exposure, live projects, placement training, and skill deve

LPU is one of those universities where the “value” really depends, on what you're actually looking for, kind of honestly. If you're viewing it from an academic side, it has plenty of programs, modern infrastructure, international tie ups, research chances, and a curriculum that leans more toward industry. When we talk about rankings, it was placed 31st among universities, 49th overall, and 48th in Engineering in NIRF 2025, so yes it's ahead of quite a few private universities in India. QUB and Trinity College Dublin are top tier options for Indian students in Ireland. The choice of which is better depends on a student's career goals and lifestyle. Queen's Uni Belfast comes with better affordability without compromising on the Russell Group status. TCD Ireland however, has a better global reputation (QS rank 2026 #75) compared to Queen's Belfast (#199).

QUB is rated highly for programs in Medicine, Engineering, and vocational subjects. TCD Ireland is considered better for Pharmacy, Law, and English studies.
