You would need to do well in your academics to get into either. At Columbia however, you have better chances of admission. Columbia accepts applications at a rate of 4.3%. Harvard, on the other hand, does so at a rate of 3.6%.

Columbia accepts around 4 applications for every 100 it receives. Its acceptance rate was 4.29% for the Class of 2029. NYU accepts twice the number of applications, at an 8% acceptance rate. You would have to work hard to get into either. However, at NYU you have a better chance.

Hey, as a student checking out B.Tech Agricultural Engineering options, I'd pick Lovely Professional University (LPU) over Bhagwant University. LPU shines with its modern labs, huge green campus, and hands-on training like field visits and crop projects that match real farm tech needs.
Their curriculum mixes engineering basics—think farm machinery, irrigation systems, and soil tech—with practical skills from industry pros, plus scholarships up to full fees based on LPUNEST scores. Placements rock too, with top agri firms visiting often.
Bhagwant University offers solid basics, no doubt, but lacks LPU's scale in research, global

If you're choosing between AAFT and IIFA for animation, go with AAFT.
AAFT's exposure, industry links, and hands-on workflow give you a stronger push, especially if you want a solid portfolio by the end. Their projects and mentorship feel more structured, which really matters in animation.

Not if you go by their overall university rankings. While both rank in and around the top 10 universities in the country, Harvard (#2) ranks well ahead of Columbia (#10), in national level rankings, given by Shiksha.

Though Harvard offers more course options, and overall brand recognition, Columbia is considered by many as the better of the two for its Engineering courses, something Harvard is not known for.

Since you're weak in Physics, CSE at IIIT Bhubaneswar is the best choice—good placements, manageable Physics, and better infrastructure. NIT Mizoram is remote, and ECE at IIIT Jabalpur requires more Physics.
