Imperial does offer a better student life to Indian students seeking an urban and diverse study environment in Europe. Its presence in London makes students feel right at home with a large Indian student population (13,000+) compared to Cambridge (1,000+).
MIT also offers an excellent student life with more student clubs and societies (500+) than Imperial College (350+), and better exposure to the US job market. However, MIT is known to be more academically demanding than Imperial College UK.

The choice of which is better depends on the factor being used to compare the two. In terms of overall rankings, the University of Manitoba (#18 in Canada) is better than Memorial University of Newfoundland (#21 in Canada).
However, MUN Canada offers courses at some of the the lowest tuition rates in Canada, and is much more affordable if the budget is tight.
Course wise, MUN is better for Marine Biology, Engineering, and Business. Manitoba Uni is usually preferred for Agriculture and Health Sciences programs.
