Check the syllabus well. Mark the easy and important topics. Always follow the basic strategy- understand the topic, make short notes, close your eye & try to recall the topic, read it again (if concept includes calculation or derivation, rather that recalling practice it). Now solve the relevant questions on it. Analyze your performance and work on the weak sections. Never take UGC NET Paper 1 for granted. It is a practical subject which requires a lot of practice and it is capable enough to fetch you good marks.

Cover up all the basic theories from the books that you have studied in your Bachelors level. Refer to the correct and the latest syllabus only. Understand the exam pattern well. Must check previous year question papers to know about the topics having high marking weightage. Prepare the important and easy topics on priority.
