Yes, BA admissions are still open at Lucknow University in academic year 2026. Admissions began in the last week of April this year. They are scheduled to close within May along with UPGET registrations. As a result, candidates are advised to apply for admissions as soon as possible.

Lucknow University is usually scheduled to close BA admission on last day of May every year. On this same date, UGPET registrations are also scheduled to close. Hence, candidates are strongly advised to register as soon as possible.

Yes, Lucknow University does offer most of its BA courses in honors mode. Candidates who wish to pursue BA in honors mode also have the option to add research to their BA curriculum. However, BA in Yoga is not offered in honors mode.

No, candidates cannot get direct admission into BA courses offered by Lucknow University after passing Class 12th. To become qualified for BA admissions, candidates will need to appear for UGPET first and clear it with an appropriate rank. Candidates who manage to do so will be allotted BA seats during the following counselling round.

The college offers the course for the duration of three to four years. Moreover, it is available in many specialisations. The courses are divided in Grant-in-aid or Self-financed programmes. The college has received recognition by various reputed ranking bodies. However, students should check other information like placement, infrastructure, etc. as well.

The course is offered for three/four years as per NEP. It is available in various specialisations like English, Economics, Hindi, etc. The curriculum is spread in six/eight semesters. It includes various core and additional subjects. Some of them are SEC, AEC, etc.
